BD Matrigel 是從富含胞外基質蛋白的EHS小鼠腫瘤中提取出的基底膜基質膠，主要成份有IV型膠原，層粘連蛋白，硫酸肝素糖蛋白，巢蛋白。另外，還包含TGF-beta，表皮生長因子，胰島素樣生長因子，成纖維細胞生長因子，組織纖溶酶原激活物和其它生長因子。
BD Matrigel?基底膜基質膠可以用于有效培養(yǎng)常規(guī)細胞、轉變的錨定依賴上皮細胞和其它類型細胞。這些細胞包括神經細胞，支持細胞，click lens，血管內皮細胞和肝細胞。BD Matrigel還影響成年小鼠肝細胞基因表達，同時也影響三維培養(yǎng)基中小鼠和人乳腺上皮細胞。BD Matrigel基底膜基質膠支持體內末梢神經再生，可用于新陳代謝和病理學研究，是幾種特有類型腫瘤細胞發(fā)病檢測的基礎。BD Matrigel作為培養(yǎng)基還可用于體內和體外血管再生研究。 另外，BD Matrigel有利于人腫瘤細胞在無免疫性老鼠體內擴散。

BD Matrigel? Basement Membrane Matrix is effective for the attachment and differentiation of both normal and transformed anchorage dependent epithelioid and other cell types. These include neurons, Sertoli cells, chick lens, and vascular endothelial cells, and hepatocytes. BD Matrigel will influence gene expression in adult rat hepatocytes as well as three dimensional culture in mouse and human mammary epithelial cells. It will support in vivoperipheral nerve regeneration, can be used for metabolism and toxicology studies, and is the basis for several types of tumor cell invasion assays. BD Matrigel provides the substrate necessary for the study of angiogenesis both in vitro and in vivo. BD Matrigel also supports in vivopropagation of human tumors in immunosupressed mice.
