Insect-XPRESS?培養(yǎng)基不含蛋白成份，設(shè)計(jì)用于培養(yǎng)從草地夜蛾（Sf9 and Sf21）分離的昆蟲細(xì)胞系。使用Insect-XPRESS?培養(yǎng)基進(jìn)行Sf9細(xì)胞懸浮通氣培養(yǎng)可以收獲超過8.3 × 10⁶個(gè)細(xì)胞/mL。Insect-XPRESS? Medium也可用于細(xì)胞固定化單層培養(yǎng)和搖瓶培養(yǎng)。培養(yǎng)基中含有L-谷氨酰胺，可用于在桿狀病毒表達(dá)系統(tǒng)（BEVS）中表達(dá)的重組蛋白產(chǎn)物培養(yǎng)。對(duì)于培養(yǎng)冷凍昆蟲細(xì)胞，Insect-XPRESS?可以和防冷凍培養(yǎng)基(Cat. No. 12-132)按50:50混合使用。

Insect-XPRESS? Medium is a protein-free formulation designed to support the growth of insect cell lines derived from Spodoptera frugiperda (Sf9 and Sf21). Cell densities in excess of 8.3 × 106 cells/ml can be achieved with suspension cultures of Sf9 cells using Insect-XPRESS? Medium and an excess of oxygen. This formulation can also be used for stationary mono?layer cultures and shake-flask cultures. Insect-XPRESS? Medium contains L-glutamine and supports superior production of recombinant proteins when using the Baculovirus Expression Vector System (BEVS). For cryopreservation of insect cells, Insect-XPRESS? can be mixed 50:50 with Cryoprotective Medium (Cat. No. 12-132).
